Jackelyn
Jackelyn is a member of the Front Desk team at the Bendavid Clinic, where she works closely with Susanna to support the clinic’s day-to-day operations and foster a welcoming, accessible environment for patients. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable from their first interaction with the clinic and strives to make each patient’s experience as positive and seamless as possible.
She received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree in Creative Writing from New York University. She is especially interested in the ways thoughtful communication and connection can contribute to a positive experience for patients and the broader clinic community.
About Me
Outside of work, Jackelyn enjoys reading, writing, paddle boarding, skiing, and hiking with her dog, Max.
She also practices tsundoku, the Japanese art of collecting books much faster than she can actually read them.
